Who wants to pick a barrel??!!

To add even more excitement to the Jacobson Market allocated bourbon drawing and Fundraiser for American Legion Post 77....on Friday,  August 23 from 4-8 we are going to pick a barrel that night!!!

So if you like Stranahans or have wanted to be a part of picking,  just let us know when you arrive, you will get a special raffle ticket and we will draw 8 winners at 545pm.   (We will pick at 6 and then the raffle and auction begins at 7).  The lucky 8 will go into the backroom where the tasting will be conducted.

Rather than trying the same product from 3 barrels....Stranahans does it different......we will be picking from 3 totally different styles.  We will receive 60 bottles of whatever we choose between the NY Bourbon,  KY Bourbon or Rye Cask (please see the picture for some nice descriptions)  if there is a strong tie we could potentially choose to do 60 of each style.

This should be a great pick, so if you are a fan or just have a great pallette and want to participate please let us know the night of the party and in the comments below!!!

Information for August 23rd Appreciation Raffle and Fundraiser:

Everyone please mark down Friday, August 23 from 4-8pm for our Post 77 American Legion Fundraiser at Jacobson Market Lake Wissota Location.  Earlier this summer American Legion were forced to do some repairs on their building with no income,  they have received many generous donations including one from our great friends at the Chippewa Valley Bourbon Society and the Chippewa Falls Eagles Club.   After all these they are short about 8800.00.

Please join us for a free will donation brat stand, Jacobson Market will be donating all the brats, pay 5,  10, 20, even 50.00 for a brat.  They are responsible for so much help to our veterans in the community so it is a well deserved cause.  Jacobson Market will also be having an allocated bourbon event as an extra draw, check out our previous and our future posts for that, that promises to be super fun with sampling,  a barrel pick, and a ton of bottles up for the chance to purchase.   They will also be having a live auction for donated Brewers tickets and maybe even some suprises.  A great event for a great cause...please help spread the word and let's take care of those that take care of us.
